This was parking space next to open toilets which were probably across the street, klappe is a term for toilets were gay guys go to have sex, widespread term in the DDR. The parking space is today a passage (Puhlmann hof) between buildings, very much gentrified.

Cafe Peking later called Cafe ecke Schonehauser Alle, i dont remember anything particular beside it was probably i place to wait for the close by Schoppenstube to open, they changed the name when the DDR stopped being friendly to china, but the community continue calling it "Peking"

Gethsemane church. very important place for the 8 of October 1989 demo( also the 40 year anniversary of the DDR), people gather here and some paramilitars surrounded the church and didn't let the demonstrators go out of the church or the area even though they were many, this led to the neighbors of surrounding buildings to light candles on their balconies in support of the peaceful church demonstrators.
